Why We Love the End of the Day — and Fear the End of What We Know
Technology belongs to everyone. Understanding it should too.
The Age of Sunsets is an ebook and interactive book and journal experience designed as a practical literacy guide for navigating technological transition.
It explores why technological change often feels abrupt — and how language, timing, and invitation shape adoption.
We design systems that function in the real world. Structured clarity prevents downstream chaos. Ideas are engineered for adoption, traction, and measurable impact.
We design for Use™.

Melonie Green
Designer. Inventor. Systems Thinker.
I build systems, tools, and experiences that people want to live with — not just use. From culture-shaping prototypes to scalable product ecosystems, Stylized Utility exists to design forward momentum.
Why Stylized Utility?
Utility is more than function. It's timing. It's positioning. It's movement. This studio builds the infrastructure that allows ideas to travel.

This studio improves through upstream clarity.
If you've explored a system, read the book, or navigated the site, your observations matter.
Data Aperture is a studio exploration investigating how AI glasses can capture human-scale environmental observation and translate those observations into spatial intelligence. By walking through environments using structured observation paths, standing points, and panoramic scans, the project studies how real-world spaces behave throughout the day.
This early work explores how organizations might better understand circulation, congestion, accessibility pathways, and experiential flow — while also opening the door to new forms of technology-enabled environmental observation.
